Used AI because I was being a little verbose and revealing too much.  All in all it should be a fun system for people to play with.  Pics to come once I finish some basic designs for bottles and vials.  Still a WIP...

Alchemy is the art of transforming what the world gives you into something greater—and sometimes, something dangerous.  The herbs you gather are not just ingredients. Each carries a fragment of essence: life, decay, vitality, focus… forces that do not always mix cleanly.

To create a potion using alchemy is to combine these fragments and hope they agree for your intended purpose. Not all vessels are created equal.A simple glass vial can contain the essence of a single herb—pure, predictable, and safe enough for most beginners.
But larger bottles allow for more… ambition.
  • Two ingredients introduce synergy—or conflict
  • Three or more begin to create unstable mixtures
  • Advanced vessels can hold complex brews… but rarely forgive mistakes
The more you add, the less certain the outcome becomes.
Understanding EffectsEvery herb has a primary nature. Some restore the body.
Some sharpen the mind.
Others protect… or harm. When combined, these effects interact:
  • Two similar herbs amplify each other
  • Opposing essences may dilute or twist the result
  • Certain rare herbs don’t add power—they change how power behaves
A skilled alchemist doesn’t just mix ingredients—they predict outcomes. They Gamble... No potion is ever truly safe. There is always a chance a vial will crack…
…or a mixture will destabilize…
…or an effect will surge beyond expectation.Sometimes a weak potion becomes something extraordinary.
Sometimes a powerful one turns useless—or worse. That risk is not a flaw -- it’s the craft.
